it doesn’t feel like summer. boston is really empty and i haven’t really come across any parties yet. i hope that things pick up here. i’m broke as hell but thursday i’ll be getting gig money and a paycheck from the hospital. then tattoo :) i’ve been trying really hard to be positive and not sit around and brood all day. it’s been getting better but i still have a lot of work to do. i feel like there’s a song i need to write. once my cd is done i hope that i can get some exposure. i’m excited to work with jamie at April Base, and possibly open for Bon Iver’s blues band. kinda bummed out though because they had to move the dates to august due to construction being done in the studio and my being in LA a week ago. that whole thing was a big blur. I’m definitely not cut out for tv haha. but it’s alright i’ve never wanted to be. the only thing that sucks now is that everyone that I met their lives all over the country and I miss them all. it was a good experience but it definitely closed that case for me. WHY AM I AWAKE. gah. just watched Blow and was hoping it would make me tired but all its done is gotten me feeling restless and hyper. i need to start reading again haha. i hope someday people will read this blog even though its dumb. someday i want to reach people from all over that will only know me from my music. not from my brother or from a friend or anything like that. just gotta stay on this track i’m on and keep my chin up. hopefully i’ll have some new material soon.
